Women’s Shoe Configurator
The Women’s Shoe Configurator was one of the first attempts at customizable shoe morphology design. Aside from superficial design selections like color, the customer can now design a shoe sole specific to their desired aesthetic and comfort needs.
The design was created in Solidworks and published to the web with igloo image library software, making it easy for designers to get their products out there on the web and into the hands of potential customers.
Customizable features in this preliminary model include heel height, support and overall profile. Future customizable parameters include arch support, toe width, platform thickness, shoe length and width.
